Spirituality…

Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature.

I like to explore spirituality in the context of the Feminine.  This is a labor of love for me.  Our generation is so blessed through technology and discoveries to be able to witness and bring the Feminine forward in our time.  We do this in image and in word.  

What is your spiritual path?

What is your current thought about Greater?

For me, I sense this incredible energy of generative Love as Divine Presence.  More and more I think that love and compassion are key components in my own spiritual journey.  

I find myself on the ‘edge of the inside’, as Richard Rohr would say,  when it comes to religious structures. This past two years has been life changing in so many ways.  Opportunity for contemplation and solitude have been abundant.  It has been a time when reconnecting with Earth and with Divine Presence has been more accessible.  It has been a time when religious structures seem to be crumbling or at least creaking.  Many people are finding their way forward awake and aware at new levels. The Feminine is being rediscovered.  Paths of inclusion are forming as we walk them.

When I ponder such things I often turn to poetry to express soul self.

The core message

While grounded 

In compassion.

We can see and touch

One another

From the edge 

Of the inside.

Mother

So human

So connected

To the Divine,

Show us how

To live 

On the edge

Of the inside

Where love

And compassion reside.

Of the center.

Spin out 

To the edge

Where you 

Will find delight

In the margins

Where the poor 

Who are rich

In love, compassion

And generosity reside.

…there is freedom

On the edge

Of the inside.

Where is the pure essence of Greater inviting you to explore?  It is an invitation and an exploration. Where will your next step take you?  Sometimes the journey is predictable.  Sometimes the journey is totally unexpected.  That is part of the fun.  I hope the next part of your journey is filled with delight!
