Advent is Our Story

In a very personal way, Advent is our story. Each Advent I consider the Divine birth of Jesus. In my mind, I imagine all the characters in the Divine Milieu we often recreate in December.

Gabriel, Mary, Joseph, Divine Presence, Jesus in utero and as a babe, John in utero, Elizabeth, Zechariah, people of Bethlehem, the innkeeper, the women who surely assisted Mary, the animals, the shepherds, wise men, Herod…so many.

I place myself in one of the roles and imagine the experience through each person’s lens.

Advent is a Cosmic Invitation for you and for me to welcome Jesus into our hearts, minds, souls and lives anew.
