Mary Ann

Hello!
Welcome to
Cultivating the Fertile Soil of You!

In this Intentional Creativity Video course you will create a painting that will help you find creative ways to cultivate your own well-being through self care and releasing old patterns that become compost for a new, thriving you!

I am so happy to be painting with you!

Here are the supplies you will need:

A painting canvas that is a 1:2 ratio.  (10 x 20, 20 x 40, etc)

Paint brushes- a variety of sizes and shapes.  Be sure to include one big brush for painting large areas and several fine tipped brushes for detail work.

A water spray bottle- Walmart has these in the ironing section for around $2.

A variety of acrylic paints.  I use Golden Liquid Acrylics which are expensive.  Another good brand that is less expensive is Nova.  You can use any liquid acrylic paint that you enjoy.  The following colors are really great;

  • Teal
  • Titanium White
  • Carbon Black
  • Prussian Blue
  • Pyrole Orange
  • Hansa Yellow Medium
  • Pthalo Green (blue range)
  • Transparent Red Iron Oxide
  • color for flowers( I plan to paint daisies with white and yellow but if you want pink roses choose a color you enjoy)
  • Quinacridone Red or Pyrole Red

Paper Plates for use as a paint palette

Paper Towels or an old towel for quick clean up

an apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy

Regarding Supplies…

This course is meant to get your feet wet

so keep it simple and use what you have when possible.

Most of all relax, take a breath and have a great time.
This online painting course contains 10 teaching videos.  I am using simplified teaching steps in this first video series as a way of getting your feet wet. In each phase of Joy for the Journey we will explore creativity as a way of bringing your wisdom to the surface.  Each series will add new dimensions of the Intentional Creativity Process.  In this series You will explore the Intentional Creativity process in a laid back manner that is meant to be easy, fun, good for silencing the Inner Critic and great at releasing your Muse of Creativity. I hope that you enjoy painting with me!
